Vladimir Trunkov - Disney Pixar Cars Character Diecast Model (1:55 Scale)
Vladimir Trunkov is a prominent antagonist in Pixar's Cars 2, serving as the leader of the Trunkov family, one of the three major "Lemon" crime syndicates. His character is modeled after a 1971 Avto Trunkov T-71, which resembles a ZAZ-968 Zaporozhets, a Soviet-era compact car. Trunkov is depicted as a ruthless and calculating crime boss, deeply involved in illegal activities, including smuggling and orchestrating sabotage schemes. He is a key figure in the plot to discredit Allinol, an environmentally friendly fuel, by using an electromagnetic pulse generator disguised as a camera to cause racers' engines to fail, thereby ensuring continued demand for traditional fuel and securing profits for the Lemons. Trunkov's leadership is marked by his iron-fisted control over his family and his willingness to resort to extreme measures to achieve his goals. In the film's climax, he confronts Lightning McQueen, Mater, Finn McMissile, and Holley Shiftwell in London, assuring McQueen that their actions are not personal. Ultimately, Trunkov's plans are thwarted, and he is apprehended alongside other members of the Lemon syndicates.
