Jimmy Lugrench is a retired Piston Cup racer from the early days of stock car racing in the Cars universe, competing during the 1950s with car number 26. Sponsored by Arrow Trucking & Shipping and Grandol Oil Company, Jimmy drove a 1950 Nash Ambassador and hailed from Sunset Lake, North Carolina. He appears in Cars 3 during archival footage of the 1954 Fireball Beach race, where he is among the racers being passed by the legendary Hudson Hornet before the race is ultimately red-flagged following Doc Hudson's career-ending crash. Jimmy is painted primarily white with red sponsor text and number 26 on his sides, and features distinctive styling details such as a grille resembling a mustache and red caps over his headlights, representing the classic design of early Piston Cup racers.
